Cooking with ice wine

There so much more in Niagara than the Falls. Don’t get me wrong, they’re beautiful and a must-see. Their energy and sheer size make it a natural wonder. And in the summer, the mist they provide is a welcome cool down.
But if you ever venture outside of the main Falls area, you will be thankful to know that there is a world-renowned wine region ready for you to soak in and enjoy. Dozens of wineries dot the landscape in Niagara-on-the-Lake, a community just outside of Niagara Falls proper.
And some of these wineries have fantastic restaurants where Chefs believe in using locals flavours to create spectacular dishes.
One of them is Executive Chef David Penny from Inniskillin Winery who loves cooking with ice wine, a Canadian specialty. Take a look at the video to see what he’s got cooking.
